1. The Financial Services Authority (FSA) and The Office of Fair Trading (OFT)
The FSA is the independent watchdog that regulates financial services. The OFT is the Government body at that regulates the Consumer Credit Act. We are required to give you this document, use this information to decide if our services are right for you.
2. Whose products do we offer?
We only offer products from a limited number of insurers for Guaranteed Asset Protection and Extended Warranty Cover. Ask us for a list of insurers we offer insurance from.
We also offer selected products from a range of finance providers, including:

3. Which service will we provide you with?
We will advise and make a recommendation for you after we have assessed your needs for Guaranteed Asset Protection and Extended Warranty Cover. We will also advise and make a recommendation for you for the following finance products; Hire Purchase, Credit Sale, Personal Contract Purchase and Personal Loan
We WILL NOT advise on or recommend to you any PPI (Payment Protection Insurance) products.
If you feel you may have a need for this type of Insurance you should contact an Independent Financial Advisor.
4. What will you have to pay us for this service?
No fee for advising or recommending Guaranteed Asset Protection, Extended Warranty or credit arrangement. You will receive a quotation which will tell you about any other fees relating to any particular insurance policy.
5. Who regulates us?
G K Group, Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire S40 2BJ is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Our FSA Register number is 308624
Our permitted business is arranging non investment insurance contracts and Consumer hire & Credit brokerage, with the right to canvass off trade premises for debtor-creditor-supplier agreements or consumer hire agreements.

8. Are we covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)?
We are covered by the FSCS. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. Non compulsory general insurance products are covered for 90% of the claim, without any upper limit. Further information about compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS.
